Meet Sandi Owens, an extraordinary HBCU grad from North Carolina Central University, who turned adversity into empowerment. After experiencing a significant vision loss in high school, Sandi didn't let her circumstances define her future. She forged ahead, becoming a math teacher and later pursuing a master's in teaching the visually impaired at NCCU.
Today, she not only advocates for accessibility but also leads Making It Visible LLC, offering assistive technology training. Sandi's journey is a powerful testament to resilience and the transformative impact of education.

2024 NJAC Scholarship - Supporting students from New Jersey at NCA&TSU, this scholarship offers $1,000 to one student at each academic level: incoming Freshman, rising Sophomore, Junior, and Senior. Demonstrate academic excellence with a minimum 3.0 GPA. | Deadline: May 17, 2024
