Jackson State alum Tramell Tillman is repping HBCU greatness on screens big and small—starring in Apple TV+’s Emmy-nominated Severance and appearing in the latest Mission: Impossible film.
🎭 His Mission: A proud graduate of JSU and Alpha Phi Alpha brother, Tillman brings Black culture, HBCU excellence, and advocacy for mental health and the arts into every role he plays.
🎬 His Impact: From making Broadway history to leading a fictional marching band (inspired by JSU’s Sonic Boom of the South) in Severance, he’s showing the world why Jackson State is THEE Standard™.

🏀 CIAA Tourney Stays in Baltimore
The CIAA Basketball Tournament—one of the biggest stages in HBCU hoops—is calling Baltimore home once again, choosing it over Charlotte for 2026.
