Dr. Tiffany Jefferson is a nationally acclaimed choreographer, educator, and cultural storyteller who has dedicated her career to preserving and uplifting Black artistry. As the Director of Dance at Hinds Community College, she founded the schoolโs first-ever dance program, creating a legacy that continues to inspire.
๐ Why It Matters: Through her leadership of Montage Theatre of Dance, Jefferson has brought Southern artistry to global stages, including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the Olympics. She has also trained students who now perform with Alvin Ailey, Cirque du Soleil, and at the Grammys.
